Nicholas Torres, M.Ed
Nicholas Torres, M.Ed, is a seasoned and successful Business, Healthcare and Human Services Executive with over 25 years of experience in C-suite executive leadership, serving in CEO and C-Suite Consulting roles throughout his career in start-up, small, and large social sector organizations. Nicholas works at the cross section between the private sector, government, and not-for-profits aligning them toward action on mutually agreed upon strategies and goals. He has designed, founded, and led and managed multiple for-profit, not-for-profit, and cross organization/system social ventures that are driven by social impact, financial sustainability, and systems change. Nicholas serves as the strategist and lead for international and domestic multiple organizational initiatives bringing them relevancy, accountability, and impact. Alongside his work at Social Innovations Partners, Nicholas serves as Senior Vice President of Education and Philanthropy at Woods System of Care; President of The Network: Towards Unity for Health (TUFH) a non-state actor in official relations with the World Health Organization (WHO); and Faculty at The Fels Institute of Government, Social Policy School, and Nursing School at the University of Pennsylvania. Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree from Carleton College and Masters in Education from University of Texas at Austin.

Michael Clark, MPA
Michael Clark, MPA is Social Innovations Partners’ Policy and Social Finance Expert, specializing in public policy, systems change, collective impact, financial innovation, impact investing, and social entrepreneurship. Mike works at the intersection of government, health and human services, business, and the social sector to translate innovative ideas into scalable policy and financing solutions. Alongside his work with Social Innovations Partners, Mike serves as Policy Director for the Convenient Care Association (CCA), where he works across state and federal policy arenas to advance accessible, affordable, high-quality healthcare and policies supporting the evolving role of retail and convenient care within the healthcare delivery system. Earlier in his career, Mike served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bulgaria and worked in urban K–12 education in Philadelphia. He has also advised organizations and initiatives on impact investing and social finance and previously developed social innovation finance legislation in New Jersey. Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government.

Nikolaj Hansen-Turton, MSc leads the management and operations of the Social Innovations Journal, Social Innovations Awards, and Social Innovations Institute, helping connect social innovators, practitioners, researchers, and organizations with opportunities to share their work, build relationships, and expand their impact. Nikolaj brings expertise in operations, digital marketing, communications, audience engagement, and event and program management. Across the Social Innovations platform, he helps translate ideas and initiatives into engaging digital content and experiences, manages communications and outreach, and supports the Journal's growing network of innovators and partners. Alongside his work with Social Innovations, Nikolaj serves as Manager at The Network: Towards Unity for Health (TUFH), an international network focused on advancing equitable and socially accountable health systems. Working across both Social Innovations and TUFH gives Nikolaj experience engaging diverse audiences across geographic, cultural, professional, and sector boundaries. Nikolaj holds an MSc in Digital Marketing from Queen Mary University of London and a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of East London.
Ragini Anand, BA, PGDip
Ragini Anand is the editor of the Social Innovations Journal. She is an experienced editor from working with and for Scroll.in, Juggernaut Publishing, India Today TV, and the Central Square Foundation, She is a native speaker of Hindi and English, with a beginner’s understanding of Urdu. Ragini studied at a Ashoka University, an academically rigorous university, which expanded her writing and editing styles to academia, research, fiction, non-fiction, and prose. Ragini has a deep interest in Feminism, the Environment, and Ethical and sustainable business and fashion.

Ema Navas
Ema Navas is an undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources with a focus on Forestry. She serves as an intern with Social Innovations Partners, bringing a strong interest in environmental sustainability, community engagement, the arts, and public policy. Prior to university, Ema conducted independent studies focused on wildlife and gained international service experience through AMIGOS in Costa Rica. She has also held leadership roles in her community, including serving as President of the ACLAMO student club, and participated in Model United Nations. Her academic and extracurricular experiences reflect a commitment to environmental stewardship, community service, and positive social impact.

Tine Hansen-Turton, MGA, JD, FCPP, FAAN is Co-Founder of the Social Innovations Journal. Tine serves in the capacity of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Woods System of Care. Ms. Hansen-Turton is an Executive with more than 20 years of experience in health and human services senior management, executive leadership and consulting. A proven results-oriented strategic leader, Ms. Hansen-Turton is known for being an effective organizational change agent and policy and health and human services systems reform advocate. Ms. Hansen-Turton formerly served as the Chief Operating Officer at Public Health Management Corporation, where she oversaw and led corporate strategy, operations, business development and M&A. Additionally, Ms. Hansen-Turton served as CEO of the National Nurse-led Care Consortium, a non-profit organization supporting the growth and development of over 500 nurse-managed and school health clinics, serving more than 5 million vulnerable people across the country in urban and rural locations. She received her BA from Slippery Rock University, her Master of Government/Public Administration from University of Pennsylvania Fels Institute and her Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
